三千院の境内にあるお堂で、特別開扉の際には靴のまま入堂して参拝が可能です。御朱印の授与や御守りの販売もあり、正面の紐を挟んで合掌する独特の参拝方法があります。庭園には苔や石を配した美しい景色が広がり、特に6月の紫陽花や紅葉の時期の風景が人気です。
