飯田城跡に位置し、温泉施設に隣接するひっそりとした雰囲気の神社です。境内には土塁や石積みなどの遺構が残っており、天然温泉の手水舎がある点も特徴です。駐車場は境内外にあり、平日は参拝者も少なく落ち着いて参拝できます。社務所は無人のため、御朱印は近隣の神社で書置きを受ける必要があります。
