〒031-0021 青森県八戸市長者1丁目6−10

4.0(262)

A shrine established by Nobufusa Nambu, the second daimyo of the Hachinohe domain. It features a main hall (honden) designated as a Prefectural Treasure, adorned with distinctive polychrome patterns. The shrine is also famous for its dedication dances performed during the Hachinohe Sansha Grand Festival and the Hachinohe Enburi festival.

What visitors say

Located on a mountaintop not far from the Hachinohe city center, this shrine is enveloped in a serene and dignified atmosphere. The grounds are a vast forest, with well-maintained parking and restrooms. While the path from the torii gate to the main hall is a steep slope, reaching the top allows you to quietly enjoy the historic shrine buildings surrounded by cherry and pine trees.
