A Soto sect Buddhist temple located in the mountains of Ikisakiyama, Oda, Fukushima City. Documents from the Date family (designated as Important Cultural Properties by Fukushima Prefecture) are preserved here. Within the grounds, there are graves of Date Narimune and Date Motohara, as well as stones used for zazen (seated meditation).

Founded in 1516 CE (Eisho 13) by Date Narimune as a Soto sect temple. Under the protection of Date Narimune and his third son, Date Motohara, it flourished to the point of having 47 branch temples. It continued to receive protection from successive feudal lords and magistrates through the Edo period.
