町中にある神社ですが、比較的静かな雰囲気で参拝できます。境内には古墳のような石塔が二つあり、本殿の彫刻は風化が進んでいるものの、独特の趣があります。春や夏の祭事が行われるほか、鳥居の隣にある石塔にまつわる伝承も残っています。
