高台に位置し、本殿からの見晴らしが良い神社です。駐車場は山の中腹にあり、そこから本殿までは石段を登る必要がありますが、途中に屋台や土産物店が並んでいます。初詣の時期は賑わい、青空に映える朱色の本殿や、白蛇の出現に関する伝承も知られています。
