急な石段を登った先にあり、境内からは上郡の街並みが一望できます。拝殿と本殿が続き屋になっている構造や、独特な形状の狛犬が特徴です。春には近くの川沿いに桜が満開になる「桜トンネル」の景色も楽しめます。周辺道路は通行量が少なく、短時間であれば路駐も可能です。
