街中にありながらひっそりと佇むお寺で、松尾芭蕉ゆかりの句碑や朝鮮鐘などの見どころがあります。門の彫り物や、手入れのされていない庭の趣も特徴です。入り口は分かりにくい場所にあるため注意が必要ですが、周辺には広い駐車場があり、落語イベントなどの開催も行われています。
