国道から入った小高い山の頂上に位置し、展望台からは原鶴温泉街を一望できる景色が広がっています。境内には池があり、鯉への餌やりも可能です。参拝にはロウソクや線香の購入が必要で、敷地内には土産物店もあります。正月などの行事の時期には多くの人が訪れます。
