境内には、イチョウの木に着生したモミジが茂る不思議な光景が見どころです。本殿の右横には北野神社と秋葉神社が祀られています。毎年5月の第3土日に開催される高田まつりでは、屋台が並び、三両の山車が曳き出されるなど非常に賑わいます。祭りの際は商店街が通行止めになるため、周辺の駐車場を利用して歩いて参拝するのが一般的です。
