大きな鳥居が圧巻で、高賀山を仰ぐ神々しい雰囲気の神社です。境内には猿・虎・蛇の魔物のオブジェがあり、妖怪退治の伝説が残る場所として知られています。参拝道は緩やかな坂道が続き、周辺の道路は狭いため車での注意が必要です。御朱印は書き置きや直接の受付が可能で、未舗装の駐車場も整備されています。
