紅葉の時期は駐車場への入場待ちで渋滞が発生しやすいですが、境内は美しい紅葉に包まれ厳かな雰囲気が漂います。大きな仁王像付近では紅葉の建物を見学でき、バラ園も紅葉の遅いスポットとして知られています。階段があるためベビーカーの利用には注意が必要ですが、御朱印の授与も行われています。
