山の上に位置する神社で、参道から約100段の階段を登って参拝します。階段は整備されていない箇所があるため注意が必要ですが、静かな雰囲気の中で落ち着いて参拝できます。プレハブの拝殿の奥には立派な本殿があり、見応えがあります。周辺には市役所の支所や人気のスコーン店があります。
