At the end of the Muromachi period, the sacred object (goshintai) was moved to Buzen Province, but it was later welcomed back to Ino. In 1677 CE (Enpō 5), Kuroda Mitsuyuki constructed shrine buildings modeled after Ise Jingu (Ise Grand Shrine).
