History
During the Meiji era, founders established the shrine grounds beside the Arakawa River during the development of the Shin-Kotoni area. The dedication ceremony was held in 1908 (Meiji 41). After sustaining damage in 1940 (Showa 15), reconstruction work was carried out as part of the celebrations for the 2,600th anniversary of the Imperial founding. In 1956 (Showa 31), the main hall was solemnly and grandly relocated due to the expansion of the Arakawa River.

What visitors say
Situated in a residential area, the well-maintained grounds feature vermilion torii gates and a hand-purification fountain decorated with flowers. There are statues of the twelve zodiac animals; visitors have a custom of stroking their own zodiac sign before worship, and the shrine also offers memorial services for pets. A wide variety of Goshuin (calligraphic seal stamps) are available, which can be obtained as pre-written copies. Although within walking distance from the nearest train station, bus access is also convenient.
