Located on the southeast side of the Awasabi intersection, this shrine is known locally as "Bijuru" or "Bijururu."

History

It is said that the shrine began when early settlers of Awasabi found a sacred stone floating at sea, brought it back, and enshrined it as the object of worship. The shrine buildings, two torii gates, and the hand-purification basin designated as cultural properties were renovated and erected in 1938 CE (Showa 13).

What visitors say

This small shrine located in a residential area attracts visitors from all over Japan seeking blessings for fertility and safe delivery.
