History
Founded in 1560 CE (Eiroku 3) by Butsujuin Nichigen in Rokusu Village, Ebara District, Musashi Province. It was relocated and re-established at its current location in 1624 CE (Kan'ei 1) by Shofu-in Nichinen. The main buildings were destroyed in the 1944 CE (Shōwa 19) air raids on Nagoya. A provisional main hall and storehouse were rebuilt in 1954 CE (Shōwa 29), and the current main hall was reconstructed in reinforced concrete in 1980 CE (Shōwa 55).
