Endonji Temple
名古屋市西区那古野1丁目11−7
A Nichiren sect temple built on a small plot of land, featuring bonsai and garden sculptures.
What visitors say
The main hall is located on the second floor and houses a statue of Kishimojin (a Buddhist deity who protects children) donated by the Owari Tokugawa family. The grounds feature a garden using large stones and an Inari shrine. Although the temple is not very large, it is beautifully maintained. It is also the namesake of the local shopping street, and visitors can receive a handwritten Goshu Dai (a calligraphic blessing or prayer).
