During the Meiji era, it was renamed Fujimori Shrine after merging with other shrines in the village, and officially became Fujimori Shrine in 1873 CE (Meiji 6). In 1920 CE (Taisho 9), it merged with nearby Kurachi Shrine, Kaneko Shrine, and Himegū Shrine.
