This shrine enshrines Emperor Ojin (Kototarashihikohikoosonoo Mikoto), Empress Jingu, and Himegami. It is dedicated to the deities of martial success and victory. Since the time of the Minamoto clan, it has served as the guardian deity of the warrior class and boasts the largest number of shrines nationwide.
