History
The shrine's origins are ancient. It is believed to have been established by a branch enshrinement (Bunshi) from Hikawa Shrine by the indigenous people who settled in Hannoyatani, though no records exist to confirm this. The shrine is already mentioned in documents from the late Hōjō clan during the Eiroku era (1558–1569 CE). It was destroyed by fire during the war in 1945 but was rebuilt in 1956.

What visitors say
A quiet shrine with a calm atmosphere, deeply rooted in the local community, nestled in a residential neighborhood. The grounds are not very large, but the air is serene. It becomes lively with local residents during festivals. Note that the parking lot is located down a narrow road, and the shrine is a considerable walking distance from the station.
