History
In the early Edo period, the shrine was located near the Yurugi Bridge over the Meguro River. Due to frequent damage from wind and water disasters, it was relocated to its current site. In the 5th year of the Meiji era (1872 CE), it became the current Iki Shrine, and the Inari, Kawakami, and Honmura shrines within the village were merged into it. The shrine was destroyed by fire during World War II but was rebuilt in 1978.

What visitors say
Located within walking distance of Odaiba Station, this shrine is characterized by its quiet and serene atmosphere, offering a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. The vermilion-painted buildings and well-maintained grounds are beautiful, and there are many points of interest, including animal and Doraemon statues, as well as the subsidiary Itsukushima Shrine. The shrine offers a wide variety of Goshuin (shrine calligraphic seal stamps) and also sells Goshuin-chō (dedicated stamp books).
