History
In 1719 CE (Hoei 6), a petition was made to invite the Ujigami of the settlers moving to the new settlement. A branch spirit (Bunrei) was transferred from Inari Shrine in Toshi Village, Yuku District, and the shrine was established in Sako Shinden. The main hall (Honden) was constructed in 1712 CE (Shōtoku 2). The shrine buildings were rebuilt in 1880 CE (Meiji 13), and a major roof repair was carried out in 1977 CE (Shōwa 52).
