Ishikiri Tsurugiya Shrine, Kami-no-Ya
東大阪市東石切町1丁目1−1
This is the Kami-no-Ya (Upper Shrine) of Ishikiri Tsurugiya Shrine. It is the location to which the former site of worship, originally situated on Miya-yama (Palace Mountain), was relocated.
History
The site of worship that once stood on Miya-yama was transferred to the current location of Kami-no-Ya at some point in the past. In 1932 CE (Shōwa 7), the old main hall (honden) of the head shrine, which had been dismantled and preserved, was moved to Kami-no-Ya. In 1972 CE (Shōwa 47), it was restored to its ancient appearance. Today, it serves as the head headquarters of the Shintō Ishikiri Kyō (Shinto Stone-Cutting Sect).

What visitors say
Located about a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu Ishikiri Station, this shrine sits at the foot of a mountain beyond a residential area. It features a serene atmosphere with dense forests and clear air. Within the precincts, there are Hyakudo Seki (Hundred Steps Stones) for Hyakudo Sengiri (a practice of visiting a shrine 100 times), and a rest area for visitors is located next to the main hall. A free parking lot is available on the south side, and nearby shrines such as Fujidō Shrine and Hachidai Ryūō Shrine are also scattered in the vicinity.
