History
The Junti-do hall was established in 1799 CE (Kansei 11) by imperial decree from Emperor Kōkaku. In 1880, it was merged into Jissen-in. Jissen-in relocated to the grounds of the former Junti-do, adopting the Junti-do main hall as its new main hall. In 1914, the temple moved to its current location, which is the former site of the Seigo-in Chinusya (guardian shrine).
