History
The shrine originated when Hachiman Shrine was relocated to Karanami during the era of the government-operated ironworks. It was subsequently moved several times due to fires and the expansion of the factory. In 1963, it was relocated to its current location in Sakuragi-cho Ichiban-chome. The shrine buildings were donated by the Tanaka family and crafted by the artisan Miya So.
