History
According to the 'Records of the Halls of Ninna-san,' the shrine was originally located in the Namiki area and served as the tutelary shrine of Nanbu Rokusaburo Mitsu-naga. It was later moved through the Kata-kumazawa area and the site of the Kuon-ji Prayer Hall to its current location. It is currently protected by a covering structure, and is presumed to have been rebuilt in 1598 CE (Keichō 3) based on a roof plaque from the monk Nichiken.
