4.4(1249)

This shrine features a main hall (honden) designated as a National Treasure, enshrining Izanami-no-Mikoto as the primary deity. It also possesses shrine buildings designated as Important Cultural Properties that exemplify Momoyama-period architecture.

What visitors say

The main hall, constructed in the oldest surviving Daishu-zukuri style and designated as a National Treasure, is characterized by its majestic, powerful appearance and solemn atmosphere. The precincts are enveloped by a quiet forest, allowing visitors to enjoy different landscapes with each season. Since Goshuin (calligraphic seal stamps) are not available as pre-written copies, visitors must bring their own Goshuincho (stamp book).
