History
1611年に江戸橋田所町から谷町へ、1644年に浅草新寺町へ移転した。1892年に現在地に移転し、明治初期に修験者が建てた「半僧坊大権現」を祀る小堂を安置したのが起源である。綾瀬講の協力により移転したため、現在も「小菅の半僧坊」とも呼ばれている。
