Later, Fujiwara no Kanhei established a temple at the current location and named it Kasafuku-ji (Temple of the Covered Hat), inspired by the story of him covering the Kannon image with a hat on a rainy day. During the Kamakura period, a bell tower was constructed by Aigan, and the bronze bell, which is a Tangible Cultural Property of Aichi Prefecture, was cast.
