This Kofukuji temple of the Obaku sect is distinguished by its vermilion mountain gate (sanmon) and exudes a foreign atmosphere through its Chinese-style architecture and design. The grounds feature numerous highlights, including cultural properties, a large bell, and cycads (sotetsu), as well as a facility where visitors can enjoy tea. As the roads are narrow and parking is limited, it is convenient to use the coin-operated parking lots in the surrounding area.
