Kougakubou, situated in the rear of the Kannon Hall at Ogawayama Senkōji, was part of a temple complex that once comprised 16 (or 17) quarters. Today, only three quarters remain alongside the Kannon Hall: Shinrenbou, Kougakubou, and Rensoubou.
