History
It is said to have been founded before 804 CE (Enryaku 23) and serves as a Sessha of Ise Jingu (Naiku). During the medieval period, the shrine buildings fell into disrepair. In 1663 CE (Kanbun 3), the shrine grounds were organized and the deity was enshrined (Sen'go) by the Dai-guji (Grand Priest) Kawabe Seichō.
