History
Founded in June 1582 CE (Tensho 10) by Takigawa Kazumasa in Ueno Province. It was later rebuilt by Suzuki Shigeyoshi's eldest son, Shigekichi, to honor his father's spirit. In 1601 CE (Keicho 6), it moved to Kai Province, and in the same year, it relocated to Towa District. During the Kan'ei era (1624-1644 CE), it moved to its current location.
