This shrine is famous for the Namahage Saido Matsuri (Living Demon Fire Lantern Festival) held every February. Within the precincts stands a kaya tree (Japanese cypress) said to have been planted by Zennyo Daishi, over 1,000 years old.

Located in the mountains of the Naka Peninsula, this shrine is known for the Namahage Saido Matsuri. After passing through the Niomon gate, visitors climb approximately 70 steep stone steps to reach the shrine buildings. The grounds feature a grassy plaza and a Kagura-den (Shinto dance hall), with free parking and restrooms available nearby.
