The following year, it was designated as a Mugekisha (unranked shrine), promoted to a Gōsha (village shrine) in 1918 CE (Taishō 7), and further promoted to a Kensha (prefectural shrine) in 1930 CE (Shōwa 5). A new shrine building was constructed in 1979 CE (Shōwa 54).
