In the 8th year of Emperor Ojin's reign, Gorohime no Kami was enshrined, and in the 3rd year of the Gangei era, Hoori no Mikoto was invited to be enshrined. In the 5th year of the Meiji era, it remained classified as a Kotaijinja (village shrine) because its origins were considered unclear.
