A temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect located in Tsukigoka-machi, Toyama City. Its mountain name is Gokoku-san (Mountain of the Five Grains). It is the 29th station of the Toetsu 33 Kannon Pilgrimage.
History
It is said to have been founded in 716 CE (Reiki 2) in Tatsu-yama-machi. In 1214 CE (Kenpō 2) during the Kamakura period, the temple grounds were established in Ota Yasudai's development area in Fushi. The temple burned down in 1819 CE (Bunsei 2) and was subsequently relocated to its current site. It has a history of serving as a prayer site for the Chūgo Guardian, Momoi Naomune.
