During the Keichō era, a shrine dedicated to Yojirō was built within the precincts of Hachiman Shrine in Kanisawa Village, located south of Rokuda Village. In 1862 CE (Bunkyū 2), the shrine was granted the title of Shōichi Inari Daimyōjin by the government office. In 1955 CE (Shōwa 30), it was renamed Yojirō Inari Shrine upon its incorporation as a religious corporation.
