History
弘安5年（1282年）または同6年に、児山城の初代城主・児山朝定が、一向寺の一道上人を招いて建立した。建武元年（1334年）に2代城主・児山朝行が永尊上人を招いて再建し、寺名を児栄山実勝院花蔵寺に改め、真言宗に宗旨替えした。文化3年（1806年）には門徒11寺を有し、嘉永2年（1849年）には堂塔を再興した。
