After the shrine buildings were washed away by a flood in 1866, the current worship hall and sanctuary were rebuilt. In 1911, the shrine was merged into Hinoyama Shrine, and the sacred objects were transferred there. However, the shrine buildings and grounds were preserved, and the summer festival is still held today.
