📕 Goshuin from visitors
Shoboin Aizen-do
大阪市天王寺区夕陽丘町5−36
A 6th-century temple founded to save people suffering from illness. Within the precincts, there is a shrine enshrining the goddess of matchmaking and marriage.
What visitors say
There are many types of Goshuin (shrine calligraphic seal stamps) to choose from, which adds to the enjoyment. The precincts have an atmosphere similar to that of a shrine and are a place cherished by the local community. The location can be a bit hard to find, so it is recommended to check in advance for a smoother visit. Omamori (protective amulets) and other offerings are distributed at the back of the main hall.
