History
The origins of its founding are unknown, but it has long been enshrined at the Tosa Domain's warehouse complex along the banks of the Nagahori River. In the second year of Kyoho (1717 CE), Tosa Domain Lord Yamauchi Toyotaka constructed the shrine buildings and permitted general public worship. During the Meiji era, it was transferred to Iwasaki Yataro, a native of the Tosa Domain, and became the birthplace of the Mitsubishi Zaibatsu's original business.
