This shrine enshrines Kamado-betsu-raiko-o-tai-shin (Kamo Betsu-raiko-o Great Deity), the deity who governs thunder and provides protection against misfortune and evil influences from all directions. It is also known as Kamigamo Shrine.

The shrine grounds feature structures such as a Yakushi-do (Medicine Buddha Hall), Tsuki-machi-tou (Moon-watching Pagoda), Koshin-tou (Koshin Pagoda), and Komyo-shin gon kuyo-tou (Pagoda for供养 of the Komyo Mantra). Although it faces a relatively large road, there is no parking lot, so visitors must walk to worship. Despite its small size, it is a suitable spot to view while strolling.
