This shrine enshrines Susanoo-no-Mikoto. He is a deity who wards off misfortune and epidemics. As a martial god who defeated the eight-headed serpent Yamata-no-Orochi, he is the center of Gion faith.

Located on a narrow street in a residential area, the shrine grounds are well-maintained. During Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival), hina dolls are sometimes displayed inside the worship hall. The surrounding area consists of pedestrian-friendly paths, and there is no parking space, so please take note.
