The following year, Bishamonten (the Heavenly King of the Ox Head) was enshrined together, and the shrine was renamed Atago Yasaka Shrine. After passing through the grounds of Hiiragi Inari Shrine, it was moved to its current location in 1931 CE (Shōwa 6). In 1869 CE (Meiji 2), the shrine was renamed to its current title due to the separation of Shinto and Buddhism.
