歴史・由来
Date Masamune, the founder of the Sendai Domain, established numerous shrines and temples as a defense for the castle town. Representative examples include the National Treasure Osaki Hachimangu Shrine and Sendai Toshogu Shrine, which preserve the magnificent architecture of the Azuchi-Momoyama to early Edo periods.
In the port town of Shiogama, Shiogama Jinja Shrine has long been revered as the Mutsu no Kuni Ichinomiya (the first shrine of Mutsu Province), worshipped as a deity of the sea, salt, and safe childbirth.
このコースで楽しめること

In Shiogama, you can visit the dignified gate tower of Shiogama Jinja Shrine and the Shiwahiko Shrine located within the same grounds.
